West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) play maker, Daniel Lomotey, has concluded a switch to Algerian side, ES Setif.

The three-year deal which was announced on the club’s website would see the Ghana youngster join for undisclosed amount of money.

However according to media speculation, the 21-year-old WAFA goal poacher’s transfer deal was worth around $100,000.

Lomotey will be the third Ghanaian to have join the Algerian side with Alex Asamoah and Samad Oppong all previously featuring for the north Africa side.

Lomotey was reported to have earlier had contact with Tunisia side, AS Soliman who wanted to sign him but the deal fell through at the end after both parties failed to agree on terms.

Prior to his departure, Lomotey was a joint top scorer in the Ghana Premier League with Karela hitman, Diawisie Taylor with 8 goals apiece.

The Black Eagles are expected to play Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their CAF Confederation Cup match on February 14.

It is unclear whether the Ghanaian qualifier to feature for the Algerian side due to the time he signed for the Algerian giants.
